Something for the weekend? Carlsberg has launched a draught machine that should allow British drinkers to pour a perfect pint at home.

DraughtMaster, is an all-in-one pint pulling innovation which dispenses a 5 litre keg of Carlsberg Export through a beer tap.

The "plug and pour" unit is simple to use and is free from complicated tubes and pumps.

Simply insert the keg, connect the beer tap and the built-in chiller maintains a consistent perfect pint temperature.

"Britain’s wait for a home pulled draught pint is over. For decades Britons have enjoyed their lager at home from a can or a bottle but this unique innovation means that for the first time ever they can pour their own perfect draught pint at home", said Chris Lewis, Marketing Controller at Carlsberg.

DraughtMaster is available in selected Tesco Extra stores nationwide and via Tesco.com from the beginning of October with the rather expensive price tag of £129 with the kegs costing £13.99 each.
