Mitsubishi has unveiled its renewed 4x4 line-up at the Paris Motor Show with the Euro debut of the all-new Outlander SUV and revised Shogun.

The Outlander, due in 2007, will go head to head with the likes of Toyota RAV-4 and Nissan X-Trail. It will also share a platform with DaimlerChrysler and will become the underpinnings for a slew of new models due out in the next few years.

The new Shogun, meanwhile, has been substantially upgraded. Features on the 2007 model include new exterior front-end styling, upgraded interior, 30GB hard disk drive navigation system with music server, rear view camera, 860W 12-speaker Rockford Acoustic Design premium audio system and rear seat entertainment system as standard on premium models.

It also gets a new 3.2 diesel and 3.8 V6 255bhp petrol engine.
