Pure Digital launch new radio - the Elan

Pure digital, creators of the Evoke Digital Radio has launched its latest portable DAB digital and FM radio. Titled the Élan, the radio which has taken a modern kitchen style radio design boasts not only DAB but also FM, stereo speakers and a promise of a 30-hour battery-life using the DAB radio or 80-hours using the FM radio.

The Élan features 16 station presents (eight for DAB and eight for FM radio) fast autotune, station selection by name, and scrolling text showing track and artist information, news and sports updates.

Sound is provided via stereo speakers with full-range 3" drive units and also comes with five easy-to-set sleep options: 15, 30, 45, 60 or 90 minutes.

The radio will be available from early-October 2004 and cost £79.99
