Epson has added another projector, the EMP-TW700, to its line-up of home cinema products.

The HD-ready projector has a native 16:9 resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, and one HDMI connection. Image quality is high, thanks to a contrast ratio of 10,000:1, and 1600 ANSI lumens of brightness.

With a 2.1x zoom lens capable of resolving 801p/mm, the projector is able to deliver crisp, sharp images, with a reduction in colour flare.

The EMP-TW700 also features Epson’s Cinema Filter for high-quality images no matter what the environment with seven colour modes including dynamic mode for lighter rooms.

From just 1.8m away from the wall, the projector can throw a 60-inch image on to a screen. Thanks to horizontal and vertical lens shift technology, you can position the project off-centre or on the ceiling, as the lens can be shifted 102.3 percent up and down, as well as 50 percent left and right.

The projector will be available for £1299 in October.
