US gets new handset slightly thicker than the Ultra X820

Samsung and T-Mobile has launched a new handset in the US called the Samsung Trace is the thinnest phone currently available in the United States, measuring just 8.3mm thick.

Exclusive to T-Mobile, the Trace comes loaded with an MP3 player, Bluetooth, built-in 1.3 megapixel camera and an external memory slot giving it the edge over the company's X820 model which although thinner doesn't sport an external memory slot.

The quad band phone features a 1.5-inch 262 colour screen. It’s complete dimensions are 4.45 x 1.97 x 0.33 inches.

There is no word as to whether it will come to the UK.
