Alienware bumps up the specs on colourful Aurora m9700

Behemoth now features 1GB of graphical memory

Alienware has upgraded the graphics memory on its Aurora m9700 to make it a gamer’s delight.

The company claims that the m9700 is the first 17-incher to pack in 1GB of graphics memory provided by dual 512MB Nvidia GeForce Go 7900 GS graphics cards. It’s also the first 17-inch notebook to features Nvidia SLI technology.

In addition, the special notebooks also come in a choice of three colours: Conspiracy Blue, Cyborg Green, or Saucer Silver. It can be upgraded to up to 320GB of storage on two 160GB hard drives, and starts at £1685 for the GeForce Go 7900 and Colour option notebook.
