The Shuffle's got competition in the form of the iRiver S10

And the competition has a screen

Apple may have unleashed the tiniest Shuffle yet, but iRiver is right behind them. In Asia, the company has launched the iRiver S10, which is just 1.9g heavier than the tiny Apple.

But the S10 features something that the Shuffle doesn’t. Despite it’s tiny size, it still manages to pack in a colour display, and it runs on a simple D-Click navigation system.

However, the tiny device can’t support flash or video, although photographs are a possibility. It also features 2GB of storage and an 8-hour battery life.

CNet Asia reports, “What iriver seems to be doing here is to export the U10 form factor onto its popular N-series of pendant MP3 players”.

So which device will win the Lilliputian music player war?
