Features integrated support for video calling

With much of the tech world’s focus on Apple the last couple of days, Skype has chosen a wise time to announce the beta version of its software Skype for Mac 2.0.

The cross-platform support allows members to call others regardless of whether they use a Windows-based PC or a Mac.

The software facilitates 1-on-1 video calls that can be viewed full screen, and now features a small window so that users can see what they look like to the person that they’re calling.

Skype for Mac 2.0 lets users make free calls to other Skype users, and offers low-cost calling to mobiles and landlines.
