BenQ has launched a new 22-inch widescreen LCD monitor that has a 5ms response time, which the company claims is the fastest for monitors of this size. The FP222W boasts 1680 x 1050 WSXGA+ resolution in a 4:3 aspect ratio, so that it’s easy to view two documents at once. Its 5ms ultra-fast response time means that fast-moving action is rendered smoothly without image lagging while watching videos or playing videogames.
The monitor also incorporates BenQ’s Senseye technology, which is the company’s fancy name for its image enhancement that automatically adjust the dynamic range and reduces jagged edges on images.
For connectivity, the monitor offers D-Sub and next-generation DVI inputs. The FP222W will be available at the beginning of this month.
