In honour of the Opodo Reflections competition in association with Nikon, Opodo has released survey data about how people share their photographs.

In a survey of over a thousand visitors to the Opodo site, the company determined that 54% of respondents agree that digital technology has improved their photography skills because they’re not worried about wastage. Over 40% upload their images to online albums to share.

Over half of those survey invite friends to view their images, while just over 30% are happy to share them with joe public.

The survey was conducted to remind people about the Opodo Reflections competition, which invites people to upload their holiday images in order to win monthly prizes. Winners receive a new Nikon S5 camera; all entrants get 30 photos printed for free, while those with images in the gallery receive £10 flight e-vouchers.

There’s also a draw to win a 2-person City break and a weekend course with i-to-i; the winner of the grand prize draw receives a pro Nikon camera, a trip to the Nikon training school, and a holiday for two.
