Another day, another all-in-one, this time from HP. The Photosmart C5180 aims to give users the best of both worlds, offering office functionality with photo printing.

Running on six Vivera inks, the C5180 promises the fastest print speeds on the market, with up to 32 pages per minute in mono and 31ppm in colour, and 10 x 15cm photos taking just 12sec to produce.

Designed for the small business or home office user, this all-in-one offers built-in Ethernet networking, to connect several computers to it, as well as memory card slots for direct photo printing, and a 2.4in QVGA colour display for editing.

Although the printer is bundled with Photosmart Premier software for photo editing, organising, and sharing, it also features HP Real Life technologies to enhance and improve photos without the computer as intermediary.

HP Document Viewer also makes it easy for users to view and annotate photos and documents on the screen. The company is also offering CD/DVD tattoos for customising audio and video discs.

The new C5180 will be available this month priced at around £200.
