Epson’s latest all-in-one device, the RX560, incorporates new Claria Inks for sharper, more vivid prints.

The RX560 also boasts PhotoEnhance technology to brighten images automatically, as well as Advanced Variable Sized Droplet technology that adjusts the ink droplet size depending on whether the nozzles are covering a detailed area or an area of constant colour.

Epson’s new Claria Inks promise 200 years of colourfastness when used with Epson papers, and consist of six inks, including light cyan and light magenta. Each cartridge costs only £7.

Other features on this all-in-one are becoming standard for a mid-priced device, and include a 2.5-inch LCD viewer for editing photos without a PC, an A4 flatbed scanner and copier, direct printing to CDs and DVDs, and PictBridge and Bluetooth compatibility.

The RX560 will be available in October for around £150.
