Dialog phone from Miglia adds to the VoIP Skype range

Making VoIP easier to use

Skype phones are being released thick and fast these days; the latest one is from Miglia, and is both Mac- and PC-friendly.

The Dialog Phone is a wire-free phone that offers Skype and iChat integration in a pared-down interface. Miglia has done away with an LCD screens, as it deems them “unnecessary” and number buttons.

All that the little white device features is a call button and volume control key, which can also be used for scrolling through a list of contacts, which are displayed on the computer screen.

It connects to the computer via a USB transmitter, which means that the machine must be on to be able to use the phone, unlike with the new Philips VOIP841, which was just announced at IFA.

The Dialog Phone is available now for around £50.
