Rockstar's Bully gets a new name

Less catchy title may garner less attention

Rockstar has bowed to pressure over its upcoming PS2 title, Bully, and has decided to give it a name change.

The game will now be called “Canis Canem Edit”, which is apparently Latin for Dog Eat Dog, and is the motto of the fictional school in which the game is set.

Canis Canem Edit will still be released in October, despite protests from anti-bullying organisations and other critics. The game isn’t about bullying; rather, it’s a role playing game where the main character is a victim of bullying and decides to defend himself.
