Proof that not all great things have to come in big packages, Lomography has begun selling its smallest camera and Pocket-lint has paid it a visit to get hands-on with the Fisheye Baby 110. 

We were expecting small, but when we first cast eyes on the Fisheye Baby 110 we were still startled by it’s quaintness. This is a camera that could quite feasibly fit in your pocket without any distress. It reminded us of something you might find in a Christmas cracker.

Thankfully when we got the camera in our hands any notion of it having a similar shelf life to some tack that breaks before you’ve had a chance to chow down the turkey and Brussels sprouts rescinded.

Lomography is offering two versions of the Fisheye Baby 110; the basic variant and the Fisheye Baby 110 Metal that is wrapped in a metallic band and comes boxed with a PC flash adaptor.

Both versions measure just 68.5 x 70 x 51mm or 80 x 73 x 51mm when the film is inserted. Talking of the film, as the name suggests, the Fisheye Baby 110 takes a 110 film. That’s right, as with Lomography’s other cameras, there are no digital shortcuts here.

This means there’s a certain art to taking Lomography photos, but that’s part of the appeal. With its full fisheye plastic lens, your snaps will have a bubble retro look that certainly makes them standout from your usual photographs.

The Fisheye Baby 110 Basic is available for £35, while the Fisheye Baby 110 Metal (with PC flash adapter) is available for £49. Both can be purchased from one of Lomography’s retail stores or from its online shop.
