Today’s website of the day is polestars.net because today is (drum roll) International Pole Dancing Day! We kid you not.In South London today there will be a world record attempt to have the most people in a synchronised pole dance. And no, we’re still not kidding.
You can sign up for a free lesson as a little taste of one of the six-week (?!) courses they run at the largest pole dancing school in the world.
Naturally, it was the little-publicised cardiovascular benefits that pole dancing can provide that drew our attention to this event.
