Rumour has it that Sony will be launching its GPS and camera accessories for the PSP at the Tokyo Games Show that starts on 22 September.

Although Sony has not said anything officially about the products, it is likely that the camera add on will be a webcam, perhaps with the added functionality of being able to take still snapshots.

The GPS receiver will turn the PSP in to a satnav, although there aren’t any details yet on which software Sony will choose to work with it.

Perhaps it will be similar to the GPS receiver that Sony launched recently for its cameras, which adds location information to images.
