Giant Swiss Army Knife incorporates 85 tools

Not the sleekest tool we've ever seen

A gadget this big is hard to miss, but somehow we omitted it from our Friday gadget roundup earlier this afternoon.

Wenger, makers of the original Swiss Army Knife, is producing a special model called the Giant Knife 1.0.

The huge device features 85 tools that are both incorporated into current tools and have been part of the line up in the past.

The tools include a nail file, corkscrew, adjustable pliers, several Phillips head screwdrivers, double-cut woodsaws, pin punches, and even a cupped cigar cutter.

The company’s marketing director told Outdoor Life magazine, “This is not exactly going to win any awards for lightest, smallest, or most efficient tools”; indeed, the thing weighs 2lb 11oz, and costs a whopping $1200.

By special order only.
