But only to customers on 18-month contracts

Orange is upgrading its animal plans to give unlimited calls and texts to users with 18-month contracts of £35 per month or more.

Orange’s animals are supposed to guide customers to the right plan depending on how they use their phone.

The Dolphin package, designed for sociable people, now offers unlimited texts on packages over £35, while Raccoon customers will get unlimited calls to landlines.

Canary users, who love to chat, will get unlimited evening and weekend calls, while Panther customers will receive unlimited off-peak texts.

The latest TV advertisement in Orange’s publicity campaign for its animal tariffs shows its customers building inflatable animal balloons.
