It's all go over at Sky Go. Not only is the streaming platform all set to hit Android, it is being expanded to include even more channels.

Sky Go launched back in July on PC and iOS and is Sky Mobile TV revamped, showing both live streamed and catch up programming. It is free to Sky subscribers, non-customers can pay for access.

The Android launch has been much anticipated and it will hit the platform on Samsung Galaxy and HTC devices first. Holly Knill, head of Sky Go has stated that they have "done everything we can to make sure that our bespoke design for Android handsets is worth waiting for".

When the Android version lands, "over the next month", it will be joined by some new Sky Go additions; Sky 1, Sky Living and Sky Arts 1. Sky Atlantic is hitting the service now and Sky's new F1 channel will also be available in March.

Sky Go works over 3G and Wi-Fi and, with Sky's recent announcement regarding free Wi-Fi access powered by The Cloud - it's easier than ever to get streaming.
