WEBSITE OF THE DAY - flickr.com

a website that makes storing, sorting and sharing your photos much easier

Today’s website of the day is flickr.com a website that makes storing, sorting and sharing your photos much easier.

Your account is free and allows you to upload all your photos, organise them and then share with the whole world or just your friends and family.

This is something that many companies offer, we admit, but Flickr allows you to email your images into your gallery, from anywhere you like. You can also upload cameraphone images into a Flickr blog, and all your images are shown under a unique URL that you can share with whomever you wish.

You can batch edit your shots and then organise them into sets and then into groups setting various permission levels as you go. If you have friends who register, you can see as soon as they’ve uploaded new images and drop them a quick critique!

All in all, a very competent online imaging tool.
