AT&T, the US telecoms company, and Yahoo are launch a new photo service together called – what else – AT&T Yahoo! Photos.

The web-based software offers desktop-life functionality, but the convenience of accessing the program anywhere.

The service includes the ever-popular tagging-based system of organisation, and incorporates Smart Albums that detect newly-tagged photos and adds them to online albums.

The new service is designed to integrate with other AT&T Yahoo branded services, including email and IM, and differs from Yahoo Photos by incorporating printing services.

It’s available from today, to be rolled out to AT&T Yahoo High Speed Internet subscribers.
