Pink PlayStation2 is Sony's offering to girl gamers

Sony has added to its PlayStation appeal with the launch of new colour for the PS2: pink.

The limited edition Pink PlayStation 2 will be available from 8th November, and will have its public debut at the Games Convention in Leipzig, held from 23rd to the 27th of August.

The new edition PS2 will come with two Pink Analog Controllers and a pink 8GB memory card.

Sony is appealing to the female fans of socially-interactive games like Buzz and SingStar.

The Pink PS2 will cost around €160 or £130 in the UK.
