Samsung's X830 switchblade-style phone coming to the UK

Unique mobile offers 1GB of storage

Pocket-lint got a look at Samsung's latest phone, the X830, that boasts 1GB of internal memory and a unique form factor.

Although the GSM mobile won’t be available until October in the UK, the phone has been available in Korea since early in the year.

The phone is designed as a true music phone, with its hefty whack of internal memory; if 1GB isn’t enough for your media needs, it features a memory card slot as well.

Its unique design involves a superfast switchblade-type mechanism, by which the cover swivels around, rather than flipping open or sliding.

The pivot point is a click wheel similar to the one that controls the iPod.

It also sports a 1.3MP camera.
