Google has said "Happy Holidays" with a new Christmas inspired Google Doodle that is slowly rolling out on Google search sites around the world.

Popping up in New Zealand and Australia, where at time of writing it is already Christmas Eve, the new doddle shows the Google logo as a series of Christmas lights that spell out Google.

Where some elements of the logo are slightly dubious there is a light grey wire frame behind to tell you what the logo is supposed to say: G-o-o-g-l-e if you hadn't guessed.

Expect to see the new doodle in the UK and the US as Christmas Eve starts.

If you are really feeling Christmassy, then make sure you type in "Let it snow" into the search and watch the snow start to appear on the results.

Happy Holidays.
