o2 launches 3G Ice handset

New pure white handset launches

O2 has announced a new mobile phone it is supposedly calling the ICE due to its pure white fascia.

Due to be officially announced today, some websites are already suggesting that the pure white 3G handset will feature a MP3 player, 1-3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, a MicroSD card slot and 32MB of on board memory as well as offering tri-band connectivity and a 176 x 220 display.

O2 Ice will be available come September from O2. It will cost around £100 on pre-pay. No word yet on the price for pay monthly customers however expect it to be free from day one.
