Apple adverts are as cheesy as a board adorned with Camembert, Roquefort and a bit of Stilton served with port on Christmas Day.

But we can't help but be charmed by the latest iPhone 4S advert featuring Old Saint Nick himself using Siri to help him navigate the globe.

Well, we say the globe - we don't hear him asking advice about non-US locations. Apple probably cut the bit where Santa asked, "Is little Carlos Rodriguez of Chisec, Guatemala on the naughty or nice list?" only to be told: "I can only look for businesses, maps, and traffic in the Untied States, and when you’re using U.S English".

Ho ho ho. Or, as your iPhone 4S' auto-correct feature would say - Hi hi hi.
