The create-your-own-app service called FundedApps has launched its first publicly-sourced app that enables children to practice tracing letters, words and animals in an Alphabet World on the iPad.
Called Share My ABCs, the app was conceived by Father of two Sean Connolly submitted his idea to FundedApps, whereby its viability committee and team of investors identified Share My ABCs as an "outstanding and commercially viable idea".
Sean had the app idea whilst teaching his daughter to write in hospital; as well as careful consideration to the UI and different levels of tracing you can also share work via email, Facebook or Twitter, so that friends and family can take pleasure in the child's progress from a distance.
The app received £30,000 worth of investment from FundedApps and Share My ABCs is now available to download from the Apple App Store as an iPad app. Sean will go on to earn 25 per cent of all profits from the app’s downloads.
