Pocket-lint has teamed up with Great British Chefs to bring you the chance of winning a cooking lesson with Bruno at the Bistrot followed by a lunch/dinner for two people as part of our Pocket-lint Xmas Spectacular.
Great British Chefs, a digital business championing the best chefs across Britain, has launched the Feastive app, a new iPhone and iPad app aimed at bringing a touch of culinary glamour to Christmas and New Year celebrations with the help of 21 of the best chefs in the country.
The app puts 105 recipes - ranging from brilliantly simple through to haute cuisine - in the palm of your hand, encouraging food-lovers to attempt anything from a single "feastive" dish to a full five course menu. The app also offers novice users a range of how-to videos on difficult sections of recipes and features a voice control function so users don’t have to get their iPhones and iPads sticky.
The Feastive app, which follows the success of the Great British Chefs app earlier this year, features some of the most dynamic British including one of the most well-known French chefs working in the UK, Bruno Loubet.
With stints at Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons, Le Petit Blanc and The Four Seasons Inn on the Park under his belt, Bruno Loubet’s name has become synonymous with fine French dining and so it’s no surprise that when he opened his latest in 2010 it drew high praise from critics and a stampede of visitors.
All you have to do is follow Pocket-lint (@Pocketlint) and Great British Chefs (@gbchefs) on Twitter and then retweet this or any story with the hashtag #plxmas. The competition will last just 24 hours after which a winner will be drawn 21 December at 11am. The winner will be announced on Twitter.
So what are you waiting for? This time tomorrow you could have a date with Bruno in his kitchen followed by a top-notch feed.
This competition is now closed.
Congratulations to @jonny162 on winning this fantastic prize with Bruno Loubet and Great British Chefs!
