Vodafone has finally announced that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus has gone on sale in its shops after delaying the release of the mobile due to a bug.

The phone, which is packed full of Android Ice Cream Sandwich and delivers some pretty high-end tech within, was delayed to due to a bug with its volume, described by some as a Self Aware Volume Ghost which turned the volume down on its own without warning.

However, the problem was fixed a few days ago and now everything seems to be back on track for the Galaxy Nexus.

Vodafone gives a brief run down on what you should expect to pay for the mobile.

"The Galaxy Nexus is available free on £41, 24-month plans - including 900 minutes, unlimited texts, and 750MB of mobile data."

If you are thinking of buying the Nexus then you can also give Vodafone's new Data Test Drive service a whirl, this lets you use as much data as you like for 3 months, with the option to tweak after the 3-month period. You can also get some cash for you old phone with the Vodafone Buyback scheme.

Of course, be sure to check out our full review of the Samsung Galaxy Nexus and why not see what Ice Cream Sandwich has in store for you too?
