BT has announced that it will be offering any customer who signs up to an 18 month contact free evening and weekend calls for a year.BT says that the free calls offer is it’s reward to its loyal customers in return for signing up to an 18 month line rental contract.
At the end of the 12 month period, with still 6 months to go customers will have to pay £3.95 a month for all the evening and weekend calls.
John Petter, Chief Operating Officer, BT Retail, said "There's been a lot of talk about a price war in the past week and the winners will clearly be BT customers. There's no complicated bundle here or vague promise of something that might be 'free' if you sign up for other expensive services. Simply sign-up for 18 months to our Option 2 package, pay the £11 line rental and we won't charge you for evening and weekend calls for a year".
BT Customers wishing to sign up to the deal should call 0800 442211 to register or go online at www.bt.com.
We are awaiting confirmation on whether you can take the contract with you if you move.
We will keep you posted. Phones, Landline Phones, BT
