It’s like trench warfare. Each side deploys every dirty trick in the book trying to gain a few precious inches of ground in an epic struggle, a battle royale, a war of attrition.

I am talking, of course, about trying to get a toddler to eat vegetables.

It’s impossible. If it’s not coated in chocolate or bought from a window in a building with golden arches above it, the chances are your toddler won’t want it. Especially if it’s green.

So, at  www.ellaskitchen.co.uk they’ve gone guerilla and have recruited a specialist to help us in this age-old fight.

Rachel Stevens has recorded some "Tasty Tunes" to help get kids to see eating healthier options as a fun thing to do, and not the end of life as they know it.

I’m all for this, as it’s time to bring out the big guns in our house,

Cue Miss Stevens…
