You know you've reached a certain age when you catch yourself thinking just how young the people who are more successful than you are.

You can reel the more famous names off one by one: Zuckerberg, Dorsey, Stone, etc etc ad nauseum, and they all have one thing in common. They saw their opportunity and grabbed it with both hands, usually exploiting a gap in the market and using all their youthful energy and enthusiasm to make their businesses a success. You can argue the toss about how they did it, but one thing remains: they actually did it.

One name you can certainly add to that list is Harli Jordean, the schoolboy entrepreneur behind www.marbleking.co.uk.

He saw the gap in the market (at his school) and exploited it (he sold his mates all the marbles they could carry).

Now he's running a successful online business.

That takes balls of steel.

And glass and ceramic...
