A junk-free future is probably worth paying for

So, as the song says, the best things in life are free. We all know that. But you also get what you pay for, don't you?

And what's true for most things is certainly true for email services. Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, to name just three, they're all great free services which will fulfil just about all the email duties for the average user.

Including the average amount of spam.

But, if you shell out a few quid, you can dramatically reduce the amount of total and utter crap that gets delivered to your inbox, as anybody who pays for their email will tell you.

One name to consider is www.pobox.com, where for just $35 a year you get a basic email package with some of the best junk filtering and security settings built in. For a bit more you can get their top-end service which includes all manner of aliasing, filters and notification options.

Now, we like a freebie as much as the next people, but we also know that many people like a junk-free inbox too, and quite a few of them will be happy to pay for it.

If you have a website that you want to tell us about email us via the feedback form.
