It's a busy day for Motorola Xoom news. First Motorola drops some Android 3.2 action for UK Xoomers and now the Carphone Warehouse in Ireland has dropped the ball - by revealing that the Motorola Xoom 2 will arrive in time for Christmas.
The clanger comes courtesy of a magazine-style advert that has made its way into the wrong hands - those being the hands of US gadget site Engadget.
The advert discloses that the Xoom 2 will come "this Christmas" and states that the tablet-sequel will be an Android 3.2 device with an 8.2-inch screen.
This display size matches the rumours and leaked pictures from September that an 8.9-inch Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition would be on its way.
The Motorola Xoom 2 Media Edition's 8.9-inch display was said to be a HD IPS one that is made of Gorilla glass and is splashproof. Earlier reports suggested that it was packing an integrated IR remote and a subwoofer on the chassis.
Reported measurements of 9.3mm thick and a weight of 430g aren't confirmed by the Carphone Warehouse flyer although a price is - €399.
We'll let you know as soon as we hear anything official.
