Taking its inspiration from the likes of the Flip, 3M has unleashed the Camcorder Projector CP45 - a pocket-sized HD camera with a twist.
That twist being that the CP45 also doubles up as a pico projector, giving you the option to beam your footage on the go.
The camera itself is capable of 720p video capture and stills shooting at 5 megapixels. The target demographic is described as females aged 25-45, so it's obvious that 3M has visions of mums beaming family footage onto the walls of anyone who'll pay attention.
And that footage will be beamed at a maximum size of 65 inches with 20 lumens of brightness and an SVGA (800x600) resolution.
The CP45 measures in at 124 x 61 x 24mm and weighs 190g. It has 2GB of onboard storage; enough for 1,000 still photos or 25 minutes of video, but there's microSD card expansion too - up to the usual 32GB. Battery life is 1.5 hours.
Out now, the 3M Camcorder Projector CP45 costs Ł299.99. You can grab one from Personal Projectors.
