There are a lot of reasons for wanting to live in Japan. Japanese cuisine in iPhone case form for one, Star Wars lightsaber lighting up the Tokyo subway too and, of course, hi-tech vending machines (containing drinks and nothing else - get your minds out of the gutter).

But all of those reasons pale into significance with the latest Japan-envy creator; the Club Nintendo Dot Mario cushion.

The 33 x 25 x 6cm, 8-bit-based replica of our favourite Italian plumber (sorry Luigi) in his pre-mushroom form is on offer for Platinum club members and is on offer alongside a CD soundtrack and a calendar.

Without doubt, this is the best tech cushion we've seen since Craftsquatch unveiled its Geek pillow range back in May.

Although, let's face it - there's not much competition.
