Porsche designed BlackBerry coming 27 October

Research In Motion is set to launch a Porsche designed BlackBerry at the end of the month, for those that want something a little different from the standard models.

Invites have been going to a select few for a special VIP preview evening of an exclusive collaboration between Porsche Design and BlackBerry in Dubai, asking people to "Be part of something truly exclusive."

The event is being held on 27 October.

That’s got BlackBerry fan sites wondering whether it is the same phone that turned up in September - one that shows strong German lines in the design ethos and something that could easily have come out of the Porsche Design stable. Intriguing...
