The Pure Lounge iPhone App will now be made available free-of-charge until the end of the year, as Pure celebrates the Pure Lounge services' third birthday.

If you've not heard of the Pure Lounge app before, it's an iPhone app which enables you to listen to all manner of internet radio stations and podcasts from your device. It can also be used through an iPhone dock, creating a makeshift internet radio.

Usually £2.99, the iPhone app will now be free until the end of the year; Colin Crawford, Pure’s director of marketing said:

"We have made the PURE Lounge iPhone app available free-of-charge so that everyone can enjoy the most fully featured internet radio App on the market. This gift to radio fans is a prelude to some very exciting developments in our cloud services, which we will be bringing to music fans in the coming months."

The Pure Lounge App can be downloaded free-of-charge at the Apple iTunes App Store.
