You Tube has made its YouTube movie rental service live in the UK allowing users to watch a stack of movies via the online video portal.
The news means Brits can now watch the latest movies on the website if they are happy to part with a couple of their fine British pounds.
“Now, over a thousand full-length feature films from major Hollywood and British studios are available for rent in the UK at youtube.com/movies,” explains Google.
There are over 1000 movies on the site already ranging from new releases like Priest, Red Riding Hood, and Hannah, to more classic movies like North by North West and a Touch of Evil. However don’t expect to find every movie you are looking for, there are a lot of films that eat into that headline number of 1000 films that you won’t want to waste an evening watching.
For those on a budget there is even a selection of movies available for free.
The site has promised to add additional videos and features to YouTube Movie Extras so that you can get even more into movies on YouTube.
