Following the launch of the iPhone 4S in the UK on Tuesday 4 October Apple has confirmed the iPhone 4S price structure in the UK when it is released on the 14 October.

The entry-level 16GB model will cost £499 and be available in black or white. Pay £599 and you'll get the 32GB model and if you are happy to spend a whopping £699 you will get the new 64GB version.

We're waiting to see how those translate into contract prices, but you can bet the networks in the UK will be keen to fight over customers to offer the best deals on the iPhone 4S.

The big networks in the UK have all opened up registration for the iPhone 4S, here are the pages you need: Vodafone, Orange, O2, Three, T-Mobile.

We will update this story when we get more pricing details.
