Maybe your eyes lit up when you saw the Logitech Wireless Boombox announcement earlier, because you're in the market for a portable speaker. But the Bluetooth connectivity does add to the price taking it over the £100 barrier.

Altec Lansing may have the speaker for you if your looking to stay on the light side of a ton, with the inMotion iMT630 - which will be especially appealing for fanboys due to its iDevice dock.

Pocket-lint actually got eyes-on with the iMT630 over in IFA and we have to say it's a cool looking little speaker, with a retractable iPod dock making it even more portable.

You'll get almost 7 hours battery life from the rechargeable Lithium Ion setup, and the sound quality should be pretty good as a result of the dual 2-inch drivers.

It comes with a wireless remote, and is also compatible with the Altec Lansing iOS apps which are free in the App Store.

Available in "Classic" black, or "Sport" blue or red, the Altec Lansing inMotion iMT630 will cost you a penny shy of £100.
