Great Scott! It looks as if all our childhood dreams are about to come true.
Well, maybe not all of them - but one of them at least, with the launch of the Back to The Future Nike trainers looking like a real possibility.
Sneaker (that's American for trainer) focused press in the States were invited to a teaser event where they not only received a message from Dr. Emmett Brown himself - "Welcome to Los Angeles. If my calculations are correct, over the next 24 hours you are about to see some serious shit" - but were also treated to some BTTF goodies including a pair Doc's metal shield glasses.

All this before the sneak peak of what is to come, the main event, the Marty McFly Nike Air Mag shoes.
God, we do so hope this turns out to be real, and is not just a publicity stunt. The signs are god though - Nike filed a patent for the trainers last year.
Where we're going, we don't need laces. At least, we don't need to tie our own laces.
UPDATE: Nike Air Mag Back To The Future Limited Edition shoes officially released, available on eBay.
