BenQ's new speakers stream music from your mobile

Turn your mobile into a hi-fi system

3 August 2006 12:05 GMT / By Amber Maitland

BenQ has quietly launched speakers that stream music from your mobile phone via Bluetooth.

It also works with audio devices other than your mobile phone, as long as they’re compatible with a Bluetooth Hands-free A2D-Profile.

There's no volume control or navigation buttons on the speakers, since it relies on controls via the input device.

The speakers can also be connected to a PC via the included Line-in cable, and can be powered by batteries or the mains.

The Mobile Sound Set Bluetooth IMS-100 is available this month.
