It seems that Monster has forgotten about Dre. For now, at least - with the release of the Monster iSport in-ear headphones.
The iSport range, as you'd probably gathered from the name, is designed with fitness types in mind, and in particular the sweatier members of the gym brigade.
For you see, the iSport buds are completely sweat-proof. In fact, they're completely water proof too - you can even stick them in the wash after a particularly strenuous work-out and they'll still be good to go.
But Monster being Monster, the buds are still packing some decent audio tech including a tight audio seal to keep your tunes locked up in your lug-holes, the iDevice friendly ControlTalk function that we've seen on other Monster devices, and also noise isolation too.
If you think they look a bit weird, that's because they've got a patented in-ear clip design designed to fit nicely with your ear's inner curve, rather than fixing over the top.
Out now, the Monster iSport in-ear earphones will cost £130. Pocket-lint is lucky enough to be one of the first UK outlets to get its ears in the sport buds, so expect a hands-on and a full review soon.
