Microsoft has announced that it will be letting gamers who buy the anniversary version of Halo Combat Evolved, due out in November, play in 3D on their Xbox 360 consoles.
“For the first time, fans will be able to experience the original Halo campaign in a whole new dimension as they step onto the legendary ring world in stereoscopic 3D,” Microsoft has confirmed on the eve of Halo Fest in the US.
Using a custom made top-and-bottom 3D technology - whatever that actually is - 3D TV owning fans will be able to experience the re-mastered “Halo: Anniversary” when it hits the shops on 15 November on their Xbox 360, even though Microsoft doesn’t really support 3D in the same way that Sony’s PS3 does.
Microsoft has opted to release the classic Xbox game for the Xbox 360 10 years later with refreshed graphics and new features, although promises that the gameplay has been left untouched allowing you to relive those gaming moments from the last decade.
Microsoft has also announced that Halo fans will be able to drive the Warthog in Forza 4 when that game comes out later this year.
