Let today, 24 August 2011, be forever known as Camera Day! Never have we seen so much new camera news as we have today - even during the specialist trade convention Photokina. Now, it's Kodak's turn to get involved.
The company has added a Burton special edition of its Playsport Zx5 video camera range, featuring a more snow- and ski-friendly colour scheme and the moniker of one of the biggest brands in winter sports.
Bar the decals, however, the camera itself is identical to the one that Pocket-lint went hands-on with back at CES this January. It's Full HD (1080p), measures 58.2 x 111.9 x 17.7mm, records onto SD/SDHC cards and throws USB and HDMI connectivity into the mix. It can also take 5-megapixel stills and can record at 60-frames-per-second.
Costing £179, the Kodak Playsport video camera: Burton edition comes with a 4GB SDHC, remote control, HDMI cable and gripping tripod and carry case in the box. It'll be out this autumn, just in time for those skiing holidays.
