Today’s website of the day is linkedin.com a website which promises to be “what networking should be”

And that’s pretty much it. You create your personal profile, which includes your vocation, abilities and qualifications, and you become part of a network of over 6 million professionals across the globe.

Now that is one big Rolodex you’d need to even come close to this.

The database allows you to find and be found by former colleagues, associates and even old school chums, and you can invited trusted contacts to join your own private network if you desire. And it’s free to join.

It certainly beats searching through all those old business cards you’ve got lying around.
