Fans of hi-def imaging may be interested to hear that Samsung is to deliver cashback for any would-be customers purchasing new Samsung Blu-ray players and personal video recorders.
The deal, which runs until the end of October 2011, includes the Samsung BD-D8900, BD-8500 and BD-D8200 Smart Blu-ray players, for which you'll be able to claim £50 cash back and those who buy a Samsung BD-D6900 Blu-ray, BD-DT7800 and SMT-S7800 personal video recorders will be entitled to £30 cash back.

Those of you who take Samsung up on its offer will receive a Citibank Pre-Paid Card, with the applicable cash back reward pre-loaded onto it - this can be used immediately. The offer begins 11 August and you can redeem your cashback here.
