Virgin Media has had an overhaul of its mobile phone tariffs, bringing in 12-month deals and adding extra customisation options.
The 12-month deals will obviously be a bit pricier than the standard 24-month ones, but with the innovation in the smartphone market happening at such a rapid rate do you really want to be stuck with a 2011 mobile when 2013 comes around?
As well as the shorter deals Virgin Media is also offering specific bundled extras on top - like £2 per month more for double talk time and 5GB of data for £5 extra. And for Virgin Media home phone customers there are also bundles and savings to be had too.
Jamie Heywood, director of mobile at Virgin Media said: "We are always looking for ways to help our customers to get best value for their money.
"Our newly refreshed monthly mobile tariffs offer a simpler way for our customers to tailor their phone packages to suit their needs, whilst giving customers greater contract flexibility, more minutes, texts and mobile data.
"These tariffs will really come into their own when combined with our popular Mobile Bonus deal to give Virgin Media customers a fantastic way to save money whilst getting more from their home phone or Mobile service."
